Fabio Castro, M.D. Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon - We are happy to welcome Fabio Castro, M.D. as part of our team at New Image Cosmetic Surgery Center. Dr. Castro's reputation is based on his 25 years of Plastic & Reconstructive surgery. Having received his M.D. degree in Bogota, Columbia in 1975, Dr. Castro completed a general surgery residency in 1979. He then transferred to Guadalajara, Mexico where he completed a plastic & reconstructive surgery residency at The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Institute of Guadalajara, an affiliate of Guadalajara University Graduate School in 1982. Dr. Castro was trained in Microsurgery at The Mexican Social Security Institute at the Occident Medical Center, Guadalajara, Mexico. Dr. Castro also completed a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. He was a nine year clinical instructor at the plastic surgery department of USC, San Diego and he has presented/published many papers. Dr. Castro's expertise has been requested by fellow plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and multiple experienced cosmetic surgery specialists to enhance their personal appearance.
